Unofficial AION 2 Global Guide
AION 2 Global launches on October 5 at 06:00 PT (13:00 UTC) on Steam and NC's PURPLE launcher. It's free to play. This fan site collects the facts new players ask about first: launch times in your time zone, how Steam and PURPLE accounts work, what to claim in week one, and how the Global version differs from Korea. Every answer links back to NC's own notices or help center.

What changes on Oct 5
- Everyone can play. Early Access was for Founder's Pack buyers. From launch, the game is free for all on Steam and PURPLE.
- New servers open. NC opens a second wave of launch servers at launch. It hasn't published their names yet.
- Early Access servers stay. Players without a Founder's Pack can join Early Access servers at launch, if those servers remain open and available.
- Matching widens. After launch, party matching covers both Early Access and launch servers in the same region, and Abyss matchmaking pairs servers by progression stage.
- Founder's Pack sales close two hours after launch.
- Pre-registration codes start working. They can be redeemed only after launch. Redeem TAKEFLIGHTAION2 too. See Coupon codes.
- Twitch Drops window 2 begins. It runs Oct 5 – 16. See Twitch Drops.
- The Cross-Server Market isn't open yet. NC says the region-wide market opens after launch. Each server's own Market is already open.
Servers
At a glance: you pick a Region, then a Faction, then a Server. The regions in NC's server lists are Europe, NA West, NA East, Latin America (LATAM) and ASIA. Each server holds one faction, and every Elyos server is paired with an Asmodian server for shared PvP spaces such as the Abyss. NC says these pairings change periodically.
Early Access servers listed in NC's notices. Launch servers are added after Oct 5.
| Region | Early Access server pairs (Elyos / Asmodian) |
|---|---|
| Europe | Siel / Israphel, Nezekan / Zikel, Vaizel / Triniel, Kaisinel / Lumiel, Yustiel / Marchutan, Ariel / Azphel, Fregion / Ereshkigal, Meslamtaeda / Beritra |

| NA East | Siel / Israphel, Nezekan / Zikel, Vaizel / Triniel |

Server transfers: NC says transfers will be available starting on October 14th, within the same faction. Early Access players may only transfer between Early Access servers, not to launch servers, and transfers will initially be free. See NC's Information on Server Transfer.
