AION 2 Global First-Week Checklist: Codes, Rewards and Deadlines
Your first week in AION 2 Global comes with a coupon code, free launch rewards in your mailbox, Twitch Drops and several community events, each with its own deadline. This checklist covers what to claim, where to find it and when it ends, in your time zone. Everything here comes from NC's own notices.
TL;DR
- Redeem TAKEFLIGHTAION2 at Settings → Miscellaneous → Account → Enter Coupon. One per account, and it expires in the second week (see the table).
- Check your in-game mail. NC now sends the pre-registration and wishlist rewards to everyone who logs in before the December maintenance.
- Bought a Founder's Pack but skipped Early Access? Your items are still waiting, and you can claim them on any server.
- Watch AION 2 on Twitch during the launch Drops window to earn more rewards.
- Membership isn't required to start playing.
Before you log in
- Pick Steam or PURPLE. Both run the same game on the same servers. See Steam vs PURPLE, including how to link accounts if you want to use both.
- Pick a region and server. You choose a region, then a faction, then a server. See the server overview.
- Plan your character. See character creation and classes.

- Extra levels cost 50 Quna each.

Do you need a membership in week one?
No. AION 2 is free to play, and the Special Quai Membership is optional. It mainly unlocks buying on the Market and the Kina ↔ Quna exchange, and it applies per server. If you plan to pay for it, choose your server first. Details: free to play and membership.
Dungeons and instances are cross-server, and party matching works across servers within a region, so friends on other servers can still group up.
